humanos.cemi.ai · Version 2026-10-23 · Effective 23 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data humanos.cemi.ai, the digital platform of the Summit HUMANOS 5.0, processes: why, who processes it for us, how long we keep it, and your rights. It applies to everyone who visits the platform, registers on it or talks to its assistant. The official information about the in-person event is at humanos5.com.
1. Who is responsible
The platform is operated by CEMI Collectively Enhanced Multiple Intelligence, Inc., Delaware C Corporation (EIN 32-0859414), 7801 NW 37th St, DO80Q56188N, Doral, FL 33195, United States, which is the controller. Our Dominican company is COLLECTIVELY ENHANCED MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCE CEMI AI SRL (CEMI.ai), RNC 133-76027-4, Calle Rafael F. Bonnelly No. 17, Evaristo Morales, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
For anything about your data, write to privacy@cemi.ai.
2. What we process, why, and on what basis
| When | What | Why | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| You register with Google | Google confirms your identity to us and shares with xAId, CEMI’s account system, your name, your e-mail address, your profile photo and your Google identifier. xAId creates or reuses your account and registers it on this platform with the participant role | To register you on the platform and recognise you when you return | Your consent, given by ticking the privacy box, and steps you ask us to take |
| You register with your e-mail, without a password | Your e-mail address. Our function asks xAId to send you a sign-in link; when you open it, xAId confirms your e-mail, creates or reuses your account and registers it on this platform with the participant role. Until you open the link, your browser keeps the e-mail to complete the registration, and deletes it afterwards. To curb abuse, we count sends per hour with an encrypted fingerprint (hash) of your IP address, never with the address itself | To register you, verify that the e-mail is yours and limit abuse | Your consent, given by ticking the privacy box, and our legitimate interest in protecting the service |
| You talk to the assistant | Your questions and the conversation history are sent to an AI model, currently Claude, by Anthropic, together with the summit’s published programme, to write the answer. We do not keep the conversation: it lives in your browser tab and disappears when you close it. To apply the daily limits, Firebase creates an anonymous account (a random identifier, with no name or contact details) and we keep counters per that identifier and per an encrypted fingerprint of your IP address. For each answer we record only figures: date, identifier, language, model, tokens used and cost, never the text | To answer your questions, keep usage within the daily limits and control the service’s spending | Our legitimate interest in offering the assistant safely and sustainably |
| You open the assistant page or send the e-mail registration form | Google’s reCAPTCHA (through Firebase App Check) checks that the request comes from a real browser; to do so, Google collects information about your device and browser | To protect the assistant and the registration from abuse | Our legitimate interest in keeping the platform secure and available |
| You open any page | Your IP address and browser details reach our hosting (Firebase Hosting, by Google) and Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces, as with any website | To display the page | Our legitimate interest in showing the platform as designed |
| You write to us by e-mail | Your message and contact details | To answer you | Our legitimate interest in answering you |
The platform uses no analytics or advertising, takes no payments and does not share your registration with the event’s organising team or with third parties. If it ever became necessary to share the list of registered participants, we will update this policy before doing so.
We do not sell or share your personal data for advertising, we do not build profiles, and we do not make decisions about you by automated means alone. The assistant is AI: it answers questions about the programme and decides nothing about you.
3. Who processes it for us
We use these providers, under contracts that oblige them to protect your data and use it only for us:
- Google (Firebase, Google Cloud): hosting, authentication (including sign-in with Google in xAId), database and functions that run the platform; reCAPTCHA (App Check); Google Fonts. If we switch the assistant’s model to Google’s Gemini, we will say so here.
- Anthropic: Claude, the AI model behind the assistant, through its commercial API, under whose terms Anthropic does not use the data sent to train its models.
- Resend: delivery, on behalf of xAId, of the e-mail with the sign-in link.
Within CEMI, only authorised team members can view xAId accounts and the assistant’s usage records.
We disclose data to authorities only when the law requires it.
4. International transfers
Our providers process data in the United States (the platform’s database and functions are hosted there) and other countries, and our two companies are in the United States and the Dominican Republic. We transfer your data there to provide the platform and answer you. Where it applies, we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for the providers that participate in it, on standard contractual clauses, or on the transfer being necessary for what you ask us to do.
5. How long we keep it
- Your registration on this platform (the participant role on your xAId account): until 12 months after the summit, that is, until 29 October 2027, or earlier if you ask.
- Your xAId account: as long as you keep it, because it is your CEMI account and may serve you for other events and services. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
- Assistant conversations: not kept by us.
- Assistant usage figures (without the text of the questions): 12 months, and they are deleted automatically.
- Assistant daily counters: deleted automatically after 3 days.
- E-mail registration send counters: deleted automatically after 2 days.
- Anonymous accounts: they hold only a random identifier and the dates it was created and last used; they are not linked to your name or contact details. You can remove the identifier from your browser at any time by clearing this site’s data.
- E-mails you send us: 3 years, unless the law requires otherwise.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- access the data we hold about you and know how it is used;
- correct it if it is wrong or incomplete;
- delete it, including your registration on the platform or your xAId account, or object to a use of it;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what was done before you withdrew it;
- and, if you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, restrict its use and receive it in a portable format.
Write to privacy@cemi.ai from the e-mail you registered with, and tell us what you need. We answer requests for access within 5 business days, and requests to correct or delete within 10 business days. We may ask you to confirm your identity.
If you are not satisfied: in the Dominican Republic you may bring a habeas data action before the courts (Constitution, Art. 70; Ley 172-13). In the European Union or the United Kingdom you may complain to your data-protection authority. In the United States you may contact your state attorney general.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
- Necessary: your anonymous identifier and, if you registered, your xAId session, kept in your browser’s storage; the e-mail awaiting the sign-in link, until you open it; and the reCAPTCHA check. They make the platform work and need no consent.
- Analytics and advertising: none.
- Do Not Track: we do not track you across other sites.
8. Security
We protect your data with access controls (visitors cannot read or change anything in our database: only our functions do), encrypted connections, abuse protection on the assistant and the registration, keys kept only on our server, and providers with recognised security practices. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will tell you as the law requires.
9. Children
humanos.cemi.ai is a platform for professionals and organisations and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn that we have, we delete it.
10. Changes
When this policy changes, we update the version and date at the top and, for significant changes, announce it on the platform. The version in force when we collected your data tells you how we used it until the change.
11. Language
This policy is published in Spanish, English and French. For users in the Dominican Republic the Spanish version prevails; in every other case, the English version prevails.
